12/23/11. The shoointg action and decoying birds were off the charts this morning, the mixed bag of divers and puddlers met with a group of talented shooters this morning, finishing with a limit before 7:10am. Ya gotta love fast hunts. And the looks on the faces on people who cant believe what they just experienced. it just doesnt get any better that it was today. I hope everyone enjoys the next couple of days with the family and has a Very Merry Christmas. We will be back with another report on Monday. Mike 

The first weekend of the second split went fairly well , the flights seemed to be a little late with the majority of the action comming after 8:30 in the morning. But the hunts ended with a nice mixed bag of puddlers and Divers.

Fridays Group were met with blustery conditions and tough shooting conditions, but they made it count.

Even on a bright sunny day the birds will work to a large decoy spread with a little wind to keep them moving. The last front seemed to move in a lot of new birds. The hunting looks to be favorable going into the Thanksgiving week.

Warm,Calm still conditions this morning made it a little tough, but we pulled it off with a fairly solid finish, gadwals , Widgion , Green wings and as you can see the Hollywoods didnt mind the sunshine ! . the numbers of birds going into the Thanks Giving week are definatly encouraging.

We are just a few weeks away and the blinds a coming along nice. My son (pictured) has been working hard to get them prepared for your hunts. We are one of the few that are going to be able to pump water this year, and it will be rolling in in just a few days. Looking forward to hunting this years record bird hatch.
