With another record hatch this year and considering that the Midwest is in a
drought while Texas is lush and wet I cant help but be exited about the

12/23/11. The shoointg action and decoying birds were off the charts this morning, the mixed bag of divers and puddlers met with a group of talented shooters this morning, finishing with a limit before 7:10am. Ya gotta love fast hunts. And the looks on the faces on people who cant believe what they just experienced. it just doesnt get any better that it was today. I hope everyone enjoys the next couple of days with the family and has a Very Merry Christmas. We will be back with another report on Monday. Mike
12/22/11. Redheads, Blue Bills , Shovelers and Lone Mott, were the spoils on Thursday morning. The recent rains and back to back fronts have had the air as brisk as the shooting action.
12/21/11 . Little Miss Sara with Her first ever Duck, and a Nice Sprig to boot. Taking this one duck with with an 8 year old girl and a 410 was a definate challenge. But it was well wort the effort.
12/12/11. Thanks Mark , look forward to seeing yall next month, glad we finaly got to pull this hunt off. Mike
The first weekend of the second split went fairly well , the flights seemed to be a little late with the majority of the action comming after 8:30 in the morning. But the hunts ended with a nice mixed bag of puddlers and Divers.
Sunday Mornings hunt rounded out the first split with a bang, Looking forward to a little break and the back to hunting on the 10th. we still have some dates available and would be proud to have you out for some great coastal duck hunting.
Fridays Group were met with blustery conditions and tough shooting conditions, but they made it count.
The Carmichael boys from today with a heavy strap. These two boys had a great time with their grandfather this morning in Brazoria County. The flight today was predominantly Mallards. Pintails, Motts and Gadwalls. With the front coming tomorrow we are bound to see a push of fresh birds. We still have room for one more group for this weekend. Come enjoy some great coastal waterfowl hunting. Capt Mike J.
