The Carmichael boys from today with a heavy strap. These two boys had a great time with their grandfather this morning in Brazoria County. The flight today was predominantly Mallards. Pintails, Motts and Gadwalls. With the front coming tomorrow we are bound to see a push of fresh birds. We still have room for one more group for this weekend. Come enjoy some great coastal waterfowl hunting. Capt Mike J.

A short hunt this morning with
Just my dog and I , so I got a little picky and decided to shoot only the Gadwall's'. we had several groups of Teal and Shovelers as well as Motts and Ringnecks decoy throughout the morning. There is definitely something to be said for the simple mornings with only you and a dog. No large straps of ducks , but what a way to start your day. The number of birds seems to be improving with each front and we have another comming this week that will bring in fresh birds. |
